Emily is in the Bachelor of Music in Musical Arts Degree program at Kwantlen Polytechnic University, where she majors in piano and minors in French horn. She has been trained in classical piano since the age of 6 and holds her Grade 10 Diploma from The Royal Conservatory of Music. She has completed studies in RCM Theory, Harmony and History, and is currently continuing her studies at the university level. Emily is an active member of various ensembles, including the KPU Wind Symphony, KPU Chamber Piano Ensemble, KPU Brass Ensemble, and previously the Maple Ridge Concert Band. She is also a piano accompanist for multiple choirs at her church, and is a piano and French horn teacher.

Emily is passionate about teaching and sharing her love for music with others. She creates a positive and encouraging environment for her students, and leads them to achieve success.
