Walter is a professional musician who has been playing the guitar for 38 years. He received his musical training through the Royal Conservatory of Music (for music theory) as well as Capilano College.

As a professional musician, Walter has toured throughout North America with various original acts such as:  Darby Mills (from the Headpins), Rick Colburn, Camille Miller, and Mani Khaira.  He has also performed in various local cover bands including "The Guy Jones Band - Tribute to Alice Cooper", "Paradise Cafe", "Rhythm Nation", and "Ozone". Walter also does studio work and writing and recording original music.

Walter teaches all ages and all levels.  His music styles include: Rock, Pop, Jazz, Indie, and Metal.
